Dina Deveney

I am a mother of two wonderful young men, Bobby and Michael. I have a love of family and a dedication to the special-needs population for many reasons. I was a teacher in Williamstown public schools for 29 years and worked in other public and private schools as a substitute teacher, long-term substitute and paraprofessional. I enjoy fitness working out as well as hikes and Long walks with my dog Maggie as well as quiet beach days in the summer.

As I was ending my career as a special education teacher, I didn’t wanna just retire, I wanted to have purpose. Having family with various levels of special needs, made me keenly aware that we need to have areas for them to socialize, work out, and just be themselves. I wanted to bring my joy of dance, fitness and fitness in general to a population that would truly appreciate it.

Our athletes at Spectrum sports motivate me in ways I never thought possible. They challenge me to think out of the box, they challenge me to be a better version of myself.
